The Rooms

Woodlands has often been called 'The Tardis' because its exterior belies the huge interior. Its size and layout accommodates large groups with ease. It is warm, spacious and extremely comfortable. Standing in half an acre of land, there is ample parking space for multiple cars - even a boat! The large well-equipped kitchen with long dining table is a big hit with guests.
With 22 Munros in the area, countless mid and low level walks from lochside to forest and everything in between, Woodlands is a haven for walkers. Its position in relation to the rest of the Highlands and Islands also make it an ideal base for the tourer. However, there is so much to see and do in the area you might not have time to go too far afield.
The mountain views visible from most of the rooms of Woodlands are are ever-changing. Colours, light and atmospheric conditions alter from minute to minute creating beautiful vistas from moody and misty to bright and colourful, glistening in the unique Scottish light. Please note, the nearby loch is not visible from the house.
With five bedrooms (2 double and 3 twin), four bathrooms, a huge lounge (6m x 6m) and a kitchen that houses a ten-seater table, ten people fit comfortably in the house. There is also a small 'snug' with views of the FiveSisters. Outside there is a timber garage that houses a pool table and dart board. Please note that this is a very, very basic games room.

Set amidst some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland, this lovely holiday home is fantastic for hillwalkers, ramblers, tourers and large family get-togethers. There is so much to do in the area, a week isn't nearly long enough.
There are 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms,  a 6m x 6m lounge and a well-equipped kitchen with a table that seats 10,  The kitchen also houses a hob, an eye-level grill and oven, dishwaser, washing machine, dryer, fridge/freezer, slow cooker, microwave, coffee grinder, cafatieres and an abundance of pots, pans, casseroles etc. Woodlands is the ideal base for large groups. Central heating and bed linen are included in the rent but not towels.
Woodlands is nestled at the foot of The Five Sisters of Kintail and round the corner from Loch Duich. Please note, it is not possible to see the loch from the house although it is very close (2 - 3 minute walk).
